Jared's Adventure is offered through Port Town Publishing's "Growing
Years" series of books. Each book offers a story as well as a lesson. That means your child will get entertainment AND learn
something!
Who Am I?
I am first a mother of 4 who fell into writing fiction almost twenty
years ago. Although my oldest is 22, my youngest is 7, and she loves to read! I was inspired to write Jared's Adventure
after my eldest son woke up one morning, very upset to find that the Tooth Fairy had not visited him. The rest of the mostly
true story is seen through Jared Watkins' eyes.
This 40 page book is a delightful explanation as to what really goes
on at Her Highnesses tooth headquarters. Every child will wish they could go on the same kind of adventure as Jared--provided
that they take care of their teeth so the Tooth Fairy will pick up a healthy tooth!
Besides being a loving mom and a full time writer, my biggest claim to
fame is that I have met and laughed with Lemony Snicket (A Series of Unfortunate Events), and am honored
to be a writer for children, even if I am just starting out!
